SAYTEX® 8010ZD Flame Retardant

SAYTEX® 8010ZD Flame Retardant by Albemarle acts as a highly efficient, environment-friendly, non-blooming non-deca based flame retardant. It is a non-diphenyl-oxide-based product containing a high level of bromine (71%). It exhibits good thermal- & UV stability and improved impact strength, melt-flow and elongation properties. It is particularly well-suited for styrenic polymers such as HIPS and ABS, engineering resins, polyolefins for wire and cable and elastomers. The convenient pellet form minimizes dust for virtually zero environmental emissions, reduces waste disposal costs and simplifies manufacturing via faster changeovers and cleanup, reducing operating costs. It is used in foams and wire & cable. SAYTEX® 8010ZD Flame Retardant is compliant with RoHS and can be used to formulate products meeting European dioxin & PBDE regulations.
