Arichem STB-FR

Sodium trichlorobenzenesulfonate. It is an excellent economic flame retardant for opaque PC compounds. It can be used to produce and utilize it in concentrate form to improve dispersion into the PC matrix. It is a white crystalline powder with no characteristic odor. It provides FR performance at fractional loading levels or at less than 1% by weight in the PC formulationFor some specific FR formulations.STB-FR at 0.2% loading can reduce by 75% the amount of brominated FR required for UL flammability performance. It meets the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 94 V0 flame retardant at a specimen thickness of 3.2 mm (1/8").
