Biostrength® 280 by Arkema is an acrylic core shell impact modifier. It increases impact strength of polylactic acid extruded, calendered, blow molded and thermoformed articles. It maintains low haze and is recommended for use in PLA applications that require toughness and high transparency. Biostrength® 280 typical use levels range from 2% to 6% by weight. It can be supplied as a masterbatch in PLA.
