Luperox® 101MO50 by Arkema is an organic peroxide designed for polypropylene viscosity modification and grafting reactions. It is a 50% solution of 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)-hexane in mineral oil. Luperox® 101MO50 molecule is combined with white mineral oil to offer rheology control options to compounders. The mineral oil can help maintain modulus in polypropylene at low temperatures.
