Luperox® TBEC by Arkema is a polymer initiator. It offers as a good mix of thermal stability, crosslink efficiency, and short cure times when used to crosslink ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) polymers. Luperox® TBEC is also useful for polymerization of styrene for food-contact as it yields non-aromatic fragments upon decomposition.
