CESA™ light 7202

CESA™ light 7202 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a hindered amine-based UV light stabilizer masterbatch containing effective substance in PP carrier. It absorbs harmful UV radiation, dissipating it as harmless thermal energy. It basically acts as a radical interceptor, effectively inhibiting polymer degradation. Significant stabilization levels can be achieved at relatively low concentrations, regardless of wall thickness. CESA™ light 7202 is believed that it converts nitro-oxyl free-radicals under photo-oxidative conditions and may also cause the deactivation of the carbonyl group. It is highly recommended for spin dyeing and also recommended for injection molding in polypropylene. It is used in food-, drug- and personal care product packaging, agricultural films, construction materials, lawn and garden equipment. The dosage level of the grade is 0.5-4.0 %.
