OnColor™ NIR Sortable Colorants by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) enable black and dark packaging to be detected and sorted for recycling. It is the most recent innovation to receive APR recognition.
  • It is detected by near-infrared (NIR) automatic sorting equipment.
  • Suitable for PET, polyolefins and PCR.
  • It can be processed by extrusion, injection and thermoforming.
  • Offers coloration strength, dispersion quality and similar to conventional black masterbatch.
  • Provides competitive let-down ratio (LDR), depending on applicable standards, part-geometry.
  • OnColor™ NIR Sortable Colorants is certified by Food contact approval documentation.
