Calcium Stearate GP 200 hydense

Calcium stearate, low to medium bulk density, fine white powder, produced from a high quality, tallow derived fatty acid for polymer and other applications. Acts as an effective acid scavenger for polyvinyl chloride extrusion and polyolefin extrusion and molding applications, owing to its basic nature. Relatively fine particle size provides very good lubrication and surface quality in thermoset, phenolic and other resin molding applications. Imparts very good water repellency to concrete, mortar and other masonry and construction materials, owing to its hydrophobic nature, relatively fine particle size and high surface area. Exhibits consistent quality in physical, chemical and mechanical properties. Used mainly for PVC and polyolefins. Meets the FDA regulations under CFR21 for indirect food contact applications.
