POLYBATCH ANTIOXIDANT AOL 336 by Bankim Plast is an antioxidant masterbatch containing 10% synthetic silica in PE with LDPE as carrier. The addition of free flowing pellets during an extrusion process causes oxidation, higher melt flow index, loss of mechanical properties or carbonized particles due to high temperature or long residence time. Its addition in the main and in the satellite extruders is strongly recommended before any prolonged shutdown as without an effective anti-oxidant, carbonized particles will be readily formed on the screw fights and tips, as well as on screens and dies. POLYBATCH ANTIOXIDANT AOL 336 particles will be slowly evacuated particularly during the production of formulas containing high concentrations of tensio-active agents (slip or antistats).
