Irganox® 245 DW

Irganox® 245 DW by BASF is a mixture of 40% triethylene glycol bis(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl), polyvinyl alcohol and deionized water. Acts as an antioxidant. Offers excellent heat stability, low color and high thermal stability. It protects the substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation during manufacturing, processing and end-use. Imparts excellent chain terminating properties during PVC polymerization. Irganox® 245 DW can be recommended at a concentration level of about 0.03–0.08% as chain stopper for the PVC polymerization.
