Irganox® 565

Irganox® 565 by BASF is a 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-(4,6-bis(octylthio)-1,3,5-triazin-2-ylamino) phenol. It is a high molecular weight, non-staining, antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. Irganox® 565 has low volatility, prevents gel formation, changes to molecular weight and maintains excellent polymer color. It is compatible with polybutadiene (BR), polyisoprene (IR), styrene butadiene (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), carboxylated SBR latex, SBS, SIS, EPDM, ABS, impact polystyrene, polyamide, and polyolefins. Its recommended dosage rate is 0.05-0.5%.
