Irganox® B 225 FF

Irganox® B 225 FF by BASF is a synergistic processing and long-term thermal stabilizer system. It is a blend of Irgafos® 168 and Irganox® 1010. It maintains original melt flow and offers low color formation along with long-term-thermal stability. Irgafos® 168, an organic phosphite of low volatility and particularly resistant to hydrolysis, protects the polymers which are prone to oxidation. Irganox® 1010, a hindered phenolic antioxidant, contributes synergistically to polymer stabilization during processing and prevents thermo-oxidative degradation. Irganox® B 225 FF is suitable for polyolefin & olefin copolymers, styrene homo- and copolymers as well as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers application. Also used in polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, polyurethane and engineering plastics. The recommended dosage level for polyolefin is 0.1-0.25%.
