Irganox® B 501 W

Irganox® B 501 W by BASF is a synergistic mixture of phenolic antioxidant with phosphite. It contains 1:1:2-combination of calcium-bis(((3,5-bis(tert-butyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl) methyl)-ethylphosphonate), polyethylene-wax and tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphite. It is a blend of Irganox® 1425 WL and Irganox® 168. It is highly effective against thermo-oxidative degradation. Offers good processing stability, gas fading resistance and superior long-term thermal performance. Irganox® B 501 W is used in production of polypropylene fibers. Recommended dosage level is 0.15-0.25%.
