Irganox® PS 802 FL

Irganox® PS 802 FL by BASF is a general purpose heat stabilizer in combination with a phenolic antioxidant. It is 3,3'-thiodipropionic acid dioctadecylester. With the lowest volatility of all BASF thiosynergists, it offers excellent performance with low odor. Irganox® PS 802 FL is suitable for polyethylene power cables, XLPE power cables, HDPE pipe, polypropylene, polyolefin under-hood automotive applications, styrene homo- and copolymers. It is used in polymer materials requiring long-term thermal stability. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.1% for polymers and 0.02-0.03% for cross-linked power cables in combination with 0.02–0.03% Irganox® 1035.
