Irgastab® IS 6113L

Irgastab® IS 6113L by BASF is a multifunctional liquid antioxidant blend for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It is suitable for the stabilization of elastomers including BR (butadiene rubber), SBR (styrene butadiene rubber), NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) and rubber latex. This additive provides superior protection to elastomers against thermo-oxidative degradation. It is effective for rubber obtained from emulsion and solution polymerization. It offers excellent raw rubber mooney viscosity stability, improved long term thermal & color stability and handling, safety & hygiene advantages. Also, displays optimized cost-to-performance ratio compared to other stabilizing systems. The normal usage levels for Irgastab® IS 6113L range between 0.05% and 0.3%. For special applications and, depending on substrate, manufacturing process and performance requirements, the optimal concentration may be as high as 1.0 % or even more.
