Palatinol® DOTP

Palatinol® DOTP by BASF is di-(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is based on 2-Ethylhexanol. Compatible with both homopolymer and copolymer vinyl resins. Its addition to plastisols and organosols lowers initial viscosity and leads to longer shelf life. It is used whengood processing characteristics are needed and the finished product requires improved low temperature flexibility and low volatility. Palatinol® DOTP is suitable for use in select consumer goods, film & sheet, coated fabrics, flooring, wall coverings and wire & cable.
