Tinuvin® 880 ED by BASF is a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) and UV stabilizer. It imparts outstanding weatherability in polyolefins. Provides excellent light and thermal stability with improved surface aesthetics, especially reduced migration, blooming and sweat-out. Tinuvin® 880 ED light stabilizer features long-term thermal stabilization performance, even at high aging temperatures like 150°C. This highly effective UV and light stabilizer can be used for a wide range of substrates like polyolefins, styrenics, polyamides, polyacetales, other thermoplastics or even rubbers and elastomers. Tinuvin® 880 ED HALS is well suited for applications in automotive, appliances, electronic, building & construction. This light stabilizer can be used in a large variety of production processes, including all type of molding and extrusion processes. Typically used concentrations to fulfil requirements in high demanding automotive interior applications are e.g. 0.05-0.15%.
