CS 331

CS 331 by KCC Basildon (Momentive) is a chopped strand fiber glass (E-glass) manufactured by low-alkali glass compositing under high temperature followed by the Bushing's nozzle process. It exhibits excellent thermostability, durability and electrical insulation. This grade possesses higher tensile strength than steel. It is strong, does not burn in fire, and offers excellent chemical resistance. It is suitable for reinforcing PP (polypropylene). It is processed by extrusion. Possible applications of CS 331 include industrial FRTP, such as electrical/electronic parts, office supplies, vehicles, and machinery parts.
