powerRibs™ 5020

powerRibs™ 5020 by Bcomp is a light weight, high performance, low environmental impact natural fiber grid. It is used to create a rib structure on one surface of the composite layer that offers increased flexural stiffness and damping properties of thin composite shells. It is recommended for the manufacture of fiber reinforced composite products. It is compatible with epoxy, polyester or PP matrix. It shows good processing compatibility with carbon fibers near zero coefficient of thermal expansion. powerRibs™ 5020 is suitable for compression molding.
