CORAPLAST DEGRADABLE PTD 1002

CORAPLAST DEGRADABLE PTD 1002 by Bhavin industries is a degradable masterbatch with LDPE as the carrier polymer. On adding 6 % of it to a 20 micron LDPE film will degradable the film with in 15 hours down to its 50 % residual elongation versus the film without it will take about 300 hours. It contains active ions that will help the polyethylene to degrade. The photodegradable additive will mineralize the remaining lumps of the film and the total of the degradable additive package will convert the rest into carbon dioxide, water and finally into biomass by the microorganisms.
