Queo™ 8230

Queo™ 8230 by Borealis is an ethylene based octene-1 elastomer. Acts as an impact modifier for polypropylene (PP). Exhibits outstanding toughness, puncture resistance and low temperature impact strength. It is produced in a solution polymerisation process using a metallocene catalyst. Offers high filler and oil acceptance. It contains a low amount of processing stabilizers. It can be processed by extrusion and rotational molding. Queo™ 8230 is suitable for automotive PP compounds and for producing halogen free flame retardant compounds.
