DSH 40-XL PEarl 60

Silane in HDPE carrier resin (40%). Acts as a crosslinking masterbatch. It shows excellent mechanical properties and outstanding chemical resistance. It prevents premature polymerization of the grafting agent and provides excellent ageing properties of crosslinked polyethylene. The use of a separate masterbatch containing antioxidant and metals deactivator is recommended if masterbatch is used with unstabilized carrier. Used in HDPE pressure pipes (under-floor heating, hot water pipes, sanitary and drinking water distribution). The recommended dosage is 1.2-1.6% active silane by weight with addition of 3-4%.
