BRUGGOLEN® P22

BRUGGOLEN® P22 by Brüggemann is a nucleating agent for polyamides. When it is added to the polymer melt, the amorphous powder is split into very fine particles. It offers improved mold release, dimensional stability and mechanical properties (increased tensile strength and stiffness). It provides reduced post-shrinkage and prevention of stress cracking of the finished product. It can be used in glass-fiber reinforced polyamides. Higher production rates are achieved due to reduced overall cycle time. BRUGGOLEN® P22 is suitable for processing by compounding on twin screw extrusion machines, dry blending and injection molding. Recommended dosage is 0.05-0.2%, depending on the polymer and the desired properties of the finished parts. It has shelf life of 12 months under (closed, dry, 25°C) conditions.
