BUDIT® F21

BUDIT® F21 by Budenheim is an endothermic blowing agent, which decomposes under heat to release environmentally friendly gases like water and carbon dioxide. This additive consumes heat during reaction. It is a masterbatch based on universal carrier, which contains 70% active ingredients. Processing of thermoplastics with this product produces stable polymer foam with uniform and micronized cells. At a temperature of 180°C, BUDIT® F21 starts to release gas, which makes it suitable for foaming of polymers like, e.g. PP, TPU, ABS, SAN, PS and POM. It is safe to handle as if the heat supply is interrupted, gas formation comes to standstill and can be restarted with further heat supply.
