BUDIT® F23

BUDIT® F23 by Budenheim is an endothermic, blowing agent. It decomposes under heat to release environmentally friendly gases like water and carbon dioxide. This additive consumes heat during reaction. It is safe to handle as if the heat supply is interrupted, gas formation comes to standstill and can be restarted with further heat supply. BUDIT® F23 is a masterbatch based on universal carrier, which contains 70% active ingredients. Processing of thermoplastics produces stable polymer foam with uniform and micronized cells. At a temperature of 200°C, it starts to release gas, which makes it suitable for foaming of polymers like, e.g. PP, ABS and SAN.
