Burgess BSC-SD

Technical DataSheet | Supplied by Burgess Pigment

Air-floated hydrous aluminum silicate. Acts as a filler. It exhibits lower brightness, neutral pH, and low residue. It has sufficient dispersion base viscosity to achieve adequate shear which may require adjustment of water level and amount of extender/filler. Incorporation of the bead clay in a system which contains binder or water which includes additives and/or pigments may encapsulate the bead clay preventing proper dispersion thus lowering product efficiency and increasing time to achieve proper dispersion. It complies with following regulations: FDA 21 CFR 73, 82, 175, 176, 177, 178, 186, 310, 335, 346, 347 and 872, AICS, China Inventory, DSL (Canada), ECL (Korea), EINECS (Europe), ENCS (Japan), PICCS (Philippines), SWISS (Swiss) and ERMA IIC (New Zealand).
