BYK® -1162

BYK®-1162 by BYK is a highly effective, plasticizer-free, dispersing medium for solid dispersions for use in PVC plastisols. It contains multi-functional deflocculating groups for wetting and stabilizing carbon blacks and organic pigments. The achievable concentration of solids for organic pigments is between 20-40% and for carbon blacks between 15-35%. It offers lower agglomeration, narrower particle size distribution and cost savings. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-1162 is 36 months.
