BYK® -320

BYK®-320 by BYK is a silicone-containing surface additive with a slight reduction of surface tension and a slight increase of surface slip. It offers good leveling with defoaming properties. It is a solution of a polyether-modified polymethylalkylsiloxane. It is suitable particularly for non-polar to medium-polar systems. Its defoaming effect intensifies with increasing polarity. BYK®-320 is recommended for all ambient curing resin systems such as unsaturated polyester resins and epoxy resins. The recommended level is 0.05-0.6% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 60 months.
