BYK® -8070

BYK®-8070 by BYK is a soap-based foam stabilizer for mechanically foamable PVC plastisols. It is a combination of soap-based foam-stabilizing components. It stabilizes the foam in mechanically foamable PVC plastisols and is particularly characterized by the formation of a fine, homogeneous and open-celled foam structure. This makes it possible to achieve very good resistance to compression set. The recommended level is 1-4 phr additive (as supplied) based on the PVC resin. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-8070 is 36 months.
