BYK® -A 500

BYK®-A 500 by BYK is a highly effective, silicone-free air release additive for unsaturated polyester resins, polyurethane and epoxy systems. It is also suitable for epoxy floorings. It is a solution of foam-destroying polymers. Due to its compatibility, it is particularly recommended for transparent systems. Recommended for gel coats and casting systems. The recommended level is 0.1-0.5% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-A 500 is 60 months.
