BYK® -C 8000

BYK®-C 8000 by BYK is a reactive polymeric coupling agent (adhesion promoter). It improves mechanical properties such as flexural strength, compressive strength and the E modulus by up to 50%. The additive is recommended for radical curing systems such as polymer concrete, solid surfaces, preferably in quartz- and granite-filled resins. The recommended level for BYK®-C 8000 is 0.1-0.3% additive (as supplied) based upon the filler. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, PICCS and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 18 months.
