BYK-MAX STARTSTOP 4205

BYK-MAX STARTSTOP 4205 by BYK is a ready-to-use, granulated, processing aid for the use in HDPE and PP/PE to stabilize thermoplastic compounds in the extruder during the shut-down phase. It is a synergistic blend of process and heat stabilizers. By decomposing reactive peroxides, it protects the polymer from decomposition at high temperatures. BYK-MAX STARTSTOP 4205 consists of non-adhesive granulates. It is dust-free, safe and easy to handle additive. The recommended level is 20% or more additive (as supplied) based upon the total formulation. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
