BYK® -P 4101

BYK® -P 4101 by BYK is a polymeric processing additive to improve the processing properties and the mechanical resistance of thermoplastic compounds. It adsorbs on the surface of the filler and therefore brings about optimum process parameters, e.g. viscosity, torque build-up and throughput. The additive also improves the mechanical properties (tensile strength, E-modulus, HDT and charpy impact strength) in the finished part by the formation of physical bonds between the filler particles and the polymer. Recommended for filled & thermoplastic compounds. BYK® -P 4101 is especially recommended for PE, PP & PA and recommended for ABS & PVC. The recommended level is 0.25-1.5% additive (as supplied) based on the filler. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, PICCS, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 24 months.
