SCONA® TPPP 2003 FB

SCONA® TPPP 2003 FB by BYK is a modifier to improve the mechanical properties of polypropylene filler compounds (e.g. ATH, Mg(OH)₂, CaCO₃). It is also used as a compatibility agent for polyamide/polypropylene blends. It improves mechanical properties (rigidity, tensile strength). It increases the impact strength and tear strength of PET tapes. It reduces the water absorption of polyamide. It is especially suitable for manufacturing powder masterbatches and thermoplastic products. The recommended level is 3-10% additive based upon the total formulation. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 Olefin polymers and food contact plastics. SCONA® TPPP 2003 FB has a shelf life of 36 months.
