SCONA® TPPP 8112 FA

SCONA® TPPP 8112 FA by BYK is an adhesion promoter, coupling agent for natural fiber compounds, and one-packs in polypropylene. In TPE-S overmolding compounds, it improves adhesion on hard substrates (such as PC, PA, ABS). Due to the high grafting level, only part of the PP in the TPE compound must be replaced with the modifier. It significantly improves the mechanical properties and reduces water absorption in PP natural fiber compounds. It is ideally suited to the production of one-packs and masterbatches. The recommended level is 0.8-3% additive based upon total formulation, depending on the natural fiber content in fiber compounds as well as the PP content in overmolding compounds. SCONA® TPPP 8112 FA is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. It is suitable for food plastics, Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 olefin polymers and GB9685-2016, table A.1 Plastics. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
