SCONA® TSPE 2102 GAHD

SCONA® TSPE 2102 GAHD by BYK is a coupling agent and compatibilizer for PA/PE blends. It is HDPE highly functionalized with maleic anhydride. It is used for polyethylene compounds with glass fibers as well as wood and other natural fibers. It improves mechanical properties (stiffness, flexural strength, impact strength) and reduces water absorption. It leads to excellent homogeneity in PA/PE blends. It offers good flow properties and is highly effective due to its very high maleic anhydride content. The recommended level is 1-4% based upon total formulation. SCONA® TSPE 2102 GAHD is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 Olefin polymers and GB9685-2016, table A.1 Plastics. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
