BYK® -066 N

BYK®-066 N by BYK is a silicone defoamer. It offers good balance between effectiveness and compatibility. It is a solution of foam-destroying polysiloxanes. It is a highly effective air release agent and used for ambient curing plastic systems to reduce the formation of foam during the manufacture and processing of epoxy resin and polyurethane systems in order to achieve bubble-free surfaces. Recommended for floorings and casting systems (polymer concrete, mineral casting). The recommended level is 0.1-0.7% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-066 N is 48 months.
