BYK® -1163

BYK®-1163 by BYK is a wetting additive for PVC plastisols to reduce the viscosity at low shear forces. It is a mixture of non-ionic surfactants. It is particularly recommended for unfilled, low to medium filled, pigmented, and foamed plastisols. The recommended level is 0.5-2% additive (as supplied) based on the PVC resin. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-1163 is 24 months.
