BYK® -1166

BYK®-1166 by BYK is a wetting additive for PVC plastisols to reduce the viscosity in the low shear range. It is a mixture of non-ionic surfactants. It is particularly recommended for chemically foamed PVC plastisols regarding white index and surface properties. The recommended level is 0.5-3% additive (as supplied) based on the PVC resin. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-1166 is 36 months.
