BYK-MAX SA 4191

BYK-MAX SA 4191 by BYK is VOC-free, dust-free, easy to handle, granulated, surface additive for the use in PP to increase slip. It consists of non-adhesive granulates. It is a highly effective, fast migrating concentrate to increase surface slip. This additive provides end products with exceptional and long-lasting slip even at a low dosage, for example, to reduce friction between various surfaces (polymer/polymer, polymer/metal) and reduce stickiness (blocking). The product also improves demolding in injection molding processes. The recommended level is 0.75-2% additive (as supplied) based upon the total formulation. The additive can be added via volumetric or gravimetric dosing units during processing in all extruders and injection molding plants. BYK-MAX SA 4191 is recommended for PP films, sheets, profiles, injection-molded products and food packaging. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
