PLASBLAK® PE1851

PLASBLAK® PE1851 by Cabot is a linear density polyethylene based carbon black (50% SRF) masterbatch. It is reinforced with anti-blocking agent (calcium carbonate). It provides enhanced long term weathering protection and excellent microscopic dispersion quality. Designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. Shows compatibility with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and ethylene copolymers. PLASBLAK® PE1851 by Cabot is recommended for use in film applications, including agricultural silage and mulch film where 2-2.5% carbon black is specified. Typical addition rates vary from 4%-6% masterbatch.
