SPHERON® SO

SPHERON® SO by Cabot is a carbon black pigment (100%). It has high cleanliness and soft pellets for improved dispersion. Exhibits rubber reinforcement and processing properties similar to those of ASTM N550 carbon black and imparts fewer visible imperfections on the surfaces. Possesses longer screen life (fewer screen changes) and less wear on extruder barrel, screw and die from abrasion compared to conventional ASTM carbon black products. Well-suited for industrial rubber applications which require good extrusion characteristics and low hysteresis with more reinforcement than ASTM N700 and N600 type carbon black products. Used in automotive weather stripping & door seals, extruded hoses & profiles and anti-vibration & other molded rubber parts. Conforms to ASTM N550 carbon black target values.
