STERLING® 6740

STERLING® 6740 by Cabot is carbon black designed for molded and extruded rubber product applications. It offers superior tear strength, durability and surface appearance. It provides very good compression set, high oil-loading capability, high receptivity to microwave energy, improved cleanliness, good dispersion, low scrap rates, high viscosity and reduced trapped air. It possesses low mold shrinkage for injection molding, low damping for dynamic applications, superior jet black color, good abrasion resistance and very good flex fatigue properties. STERLING® 6740 is used in belts and belt components, automotive extruded profiles and high-pressure hose. It is compatible with EPDR.
