CALSOL™ 8240 by Calumet Specialty Products Partners is a high viscosity-gravity constant (VGC), naphthenic process oil. It shows maximum volatility and high temperature resistance with neoprene polychloroprene (CR), styrene-butadiene (SBR) and polybutadiene (BR). CALSOL™ 8240 offers color stability, elastomer compatibility, and strong process characteristics. This product provides optimum compatibility and performance in elastomeric rubber applications. It displays low aniline points and very low polar compound levels. This product meets requirements of FDA 21 CFR 178.3620(c).
