Thermax® N990 Ultra Pure

Thermax® N990 Ultra Pure by Cancarb is a highly purified thermal carbon black. Provides maximum heat and chemical resistance, while minimizing impurities in the end product. Possesses extremely low levels of contaminants as indicated by the low levels of ash and sulphur. Imparts low modulus. Offers compounds lower tensile strength and higher elongation properties, resulting in low hardness. Exhibits lower tear resistance, superior compression set, low air permeability and excellent dielectric properties. Shows very low sieve residue values, minimizing the potential for non-carbon particulate contamination. Recommended applications of Thermax® N990 Ultra Pure are advanced ceramics, metal carbides (silicon, tungston), fluorpelastomers, high temperature insulation and metallurgical reducing agent.
