DEAC by Lanxes is a diethylaluminum chloride-based catalyst. It is used as a co-catalyst in Ziegler-Natta polymerization processes and as a ethylation regent in organic synthesis. Possesses at least one-carbon-metal bond. Provides alkylating, reducing and lewis-acid properties. DEAC is suitable for the manufacture of polyolefins and synthetic rubbers.
