EASC

EASC by Lanxess is ethylaluminum sesquichloride-based catalyst. It is used as a cost effective scavenger for oxygen and water. Possesses at least one-carbon-metal bond. Provides alkylating-, reducing- and lewis-acid properties. EASC is suitable for manufacture of polyolefins, synthetic elastomers and synthetic rubbers with Ziegler-Natta-catalysts & intermediate. The shelf life of EASC is two years if stored under protective gas in sealed unopened original containers at a temperature less than 50°C.
