Chiguard® 380 by Chitec Technology acts as a UV light stabilizer based on benzozaxinone. It offers high heat-stability and light fastness properties.

It provides twice absorption at UV-A range than benzotriazole or triazine based UV absorbers on the same weight basis, which makes it attractive to those polymers which need extra protection at blue-swift UV regions.
It is used in engineering plastics.
