AddWorks® PKG 906

AddWorks® PKG 906 is a proprietary polymer stabilizer designed by Clariant to increase plastic waste recycling in polyolefin film manufacturing. It is especially suited for BOPP production, but also applicable to cast and blown film process. It allows use of increased amounts of recycled resin without loss of film quality or production efficiency. AddWorks® PKG 906 prevents and reduces gel or black spot formation and protects the resin ensuring normal line running speeds without increased film breakages. It remarkably impacts the film cost/performance balance by replacing virgin resin with higher amounts of recycled film or resin. AddWorks® PKG 906 is suitable for most PO film processes, free of any carrier resin and food contact approved. Recommended dosage level is 0.12-0.18% (fully tuneable depending on parameters such as base resin quality, film type, recyclate quality and amount of recyclate added). It has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
