AddWorks® LXR™ 408

AddWorks® LXR™ 408 by Clariant is a low volatile antistatic composition designed to provide internal long-term antistatic effects to polyolefins. Exhibits high thermal stability & reduced dripping in heat setting oven, good film aesthetics, no effect on color, gloss and transparency. It shows retained mechanical performance, no influence on film production, unchanged processing parameters, state of the art antistatic performance and excellent static decay time. By reducing electrostatic build-up on polymer surfaces, it improves post manufacturing handling and prevents undesired effects such as dust attraction, spark discharge & ink misting. Designed for processing by extrusion to provide good dosing accuracy. Due to its low blooming performance, AddWorks® LXR™ 408 is suitable for use in highly transparent, thick and thin BOPP printable films. It is approved in plastics for food contact applications. It has a minimum shelf life of 2 years. This product is no longer available and has been replaced by AddWorks® PKG 190
